Following extensive training, the British Drilling Association (BDA) is pleased to announce Charlie Allardyce, one of the BDA’s Auditors, is now officially certified as a Mental Health First Aider.
This is tremendous news for the audit team and will allow Charlie to provide confidential initial help and assistance on matters regarding mental health to those who may require it during his visits to sites.
With mental health and wellbeing one of the main aims of the BDA, having a qualified and certified Mental Health First Aider on its Audit team is a great asset and it is the BDA’s plan to get other Auditors’ trained too.
