Submissions are invited for the following awards categories:

  • LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD – recognising an individual that has made a lengthy and outstanding contribution to the British drilling industry over their career
  • DRILLER OF THE YEAR – recognising an individual Driller (any level, trainee to Lead, be more inclusive) that has made an outstanding contribution to the British drilling industry / their company
  • EXCELLENCE AWARD – recognising a demonstration of technical excellence, innovation and/or collaborative working achieved by a Company and/or co-working & co-operation between a BDA Member Company and one or more Consultants, Contractor’s, Supplier etc. on a recently competed project, innovation or development initiative.
  • SAFETY AWARD – recognising a recent safety campaign or initiative in the British Drilling industry that has reduced accidents / near misses or improved behavioural safety culture, including COVID-19 measures

Closing date for entries is 21st October 2020, after which a shortlist will be published before the winners are announced 10th December 2020.

PLEASE NOTE:  It is not possible to upload a video to support your entry, however should you wish to send a video, please do so via Dropbox or WeTransfer, to office@britishdrillingassociation.co.uk  – please state in the subject/title ‘This is a video to support our BDA Awards 2020 entry’.
