The British Drilling Association (BDA) is pleased to support the Ground Source Heat Pump Association’s (GSHPA) AGM, Conference and Charity Dinner.

The event, which is being held 22nd October 2021, The Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spas, Skipton, North Yorkshire, will provide a number of opportunities to get together in an informal setting to get expert advice and information in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales alongside some Yorkshire hospitality.

The day begins with the brief AGM (for paid up members) followed by the Conference (for members and non-members) including a series of coordinated Expert Panel sessions, presentations and networking events.

Confirmed speakers currently include representatives from the Environment Agency, Lord Callanan (BEIS), Helen Melone (Scottish Renewables), Dr Jan Rosenow (RAP), Caroline Bragg (ADE), Steve Hunt (Ex CIBSE Chair – Merseyside), Patrick Allcorn (BEIS) and BDA Chair, Richard Fielden, to name but a few.

Alongside this there is the opportunity to have some fun with optional Estate activities, such as clay pigeon shooting, 4×4 activities and archery.

A Yorkshire welcome awaits with bacon roll, tea & coffee on arrival, morning refreshments and a Yorkshire Tapas buffet lunch are also included.

You may also wish to exhibit your company with a pop-up roller banner and table-top presence for £300 (+VAT). Please contact the GSHPA Secretariat – info@gshp.org.uk – to the sponsorship opportunities.

The Gala Charity Dinner, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, begins at 7pm and will be hosted by Ricky Tomlinson (Jim from the Royle Family). The evening includes a welcome drink on arrival, a three-course dinner, charity raffle/auction and live music to dance the night away! Dress code – smart/casual or dress to impress!
