Round-up of the BDA Five-a-Side Football Tournament 2022

Held Saturday 18 June 2022 at “Goals Leeds, The British Drilling Association (BDA) Five-a-Side Football Tournament was a huge success, being not only competitive, but social and entertaining.

Of course, there had to be a winner and that prize was taken by Team Soil Engineering, who beat Team Strata Geotechnics in the final.

Both teams had secured their places in the final, having battled through the tournament’s group element and then the sudden death of the knockout phase.

The BDA would like to thank all those who took part in the five-a-side tournament, which is now a permanent fixture in the Association’s social calendar!

The BDA would also like to also thank all those member companies that kindly supported the event through ball sponsorship, these members were: TerraRoc; Structural Soils; Soil Engineering; Terra Tek; Causeway Geotech and Phoenix Drilling. Their generosity is what makes events such as this possible.
