Thorough Examination Certification for Drilling – New BDA Training Video Available

The British Drilling Association (BDA) has released a new training video titled: “Thorough Examination Certification for Drilling”.

This latest addition to the BDA’s member training library provides a clear, practical guide to carrying out ‘Thorough Examinations’ correctly. The video explains what needs to be examined and when, how to document findings accurately, and what information must be included in every report.

By following the guidance, members can ensure their plant, winches, ropes, and lifting accessories are compliant, safe, and fit for purpose.

The resource aims to help BDA members across the drilling community align on expectations, making compliance straightforward and embedding safety as second nature.
