The British Drilling Association (BDA) has updated its online training course, Wire Rope Inspection for Land Drilling, available through the BDA Training Portal.
Regular inspection of wire ropes is an important part of safe drilling operations. The course focuses on how to inspect wire ropes used with land drilling machinery.
It provides a convenient online way to reinforce good inspection practice and awareness of the condition of a safety-critical component used across drilling operations.
The course – (which is £30 to members, £90 to non-members) – can be accessed through the BDA Training Portal here: https://bda.learnworlds.com/courses
The BDA will continue to add training opportunities to the portal, helping members and the wider drilling sector access relevant learning online, wherever and whenever it is needed.
