UK Drilling Industry Conference
20–21 May 2026
The BDA is pleased to provide information on a new event, titled “the UK Drilling Industry Conference”, an event organised and hosted by ‘ACE Drilling Events’, scheduled for Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st May 2026 at the Alona Hotel, Hamilton, near Glasgow.
Developed by ACE Drilling Events, this new two-day industry conference aims to bring together drilling contractors, suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, investors and policymakers to explore the challenges, opportunities and future direction of drilling in the UK.
The programme has been shaped “by the industry, for the industry”, with sessions spanning drilling operations, standards, training and accreditation, geothermal and ground-source development, procurement, health & safety, and insights from live projects. Real-world case studies, investor perspectives and future skills pathways will also feature prominently.
Speaker and contributor opportunities
Several programme areas remain open for refinement and additional input. BDA members interested in contributing as speakers, panel members or case-study providers are encouraged to make contact. A presentation dinner will take place on the Wednesday evening, including a drinks reception, three-course meal and industry recognition ceremony.
BDA members can access an exclusive 10% discount on any indoor or outdoor exhibitor stand by entering BDA10 at checkout. This discount is available until 28th February 2026.
