BDA Awards 2023 – OPEN FOR ENTRIES!

The British Drilling Association (BDA) is pleased to announce its 2023 Awards is now open for entries.

The BDA Awards, being held 4th November 2023, at the Crown Plaza Liverpool City Centre, a stunning waterfront hotel, located on Liverpool’s waterfront, one of the UK’s 32 World Heritage sites, celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and companies within the drilling industry and are a real opportunity to recognise the companies and individuals at the forefront of industry in skill and innovation.

The BDA Awards 2023 categories are:

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT – recognising recognise contributions to the Drilling Sector or Association over the entire career of an individual.

APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR – recognising an outstanding apprentice on the BDA scheme and how that individual has also made a positive contribution to their workplace through commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication.

LEAD DRILLER OF THE YEAR – recognising an individual Lead Driller that has made an outstanding contribution to the British drilling industry / their company and who embodies the ethos of the BDA.

INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE – recognising an outstanding project, innovation, or achievement within the scope of the drilling sector.

SAFETY INITIATIVE – recognising an initiative that has measurably improved safety for a project, an individual or the wider drilling industry.

The closing date for entries is 5pm, 17th October 2023, after which a shortlist will be published before the winners are announced at the event in November.
